Hello There.

Welcome to Mr Passos. Here we talk about all things Life, Business & Fashion. Hope you have a nice stay!

Mr Passos 2.0

Mr Passos 2.0

From a freelance one man brand agency to an online platform for intentional conversation. Welcome to the same Mr Passos just with a different intention.

Ever had an itch to do something that you were too scared to start? You know, like start a new hobby or turn a passion project into a business. Well when I first decided to leave corporate and start my own thing I soon came to realize that it’s quite difficult trying to build a service based business alone. Especially in the marketing world. Naturally I over planned, over designed and over thought most of it. I soon came to realize that in order to help businesses build their brands you need strong collaborative thinking, purpose driven strategy and really strong design execution. You also need people and partners that share the same purpose frequency as you do. I decided to collaborate with a colleague of mine and we named our new marketing baby ID8.

In this whole process I still wanted to keep the Mr Passos brand alive. I had to do some deep searching to see what I wanted to bring to the world. After rewatching How Great Leaders Inspire Action - the TED Talk by Simon Sinek and reading Start With Why I began to get an idea of the purpose behind this platform.

My purpose with Mr Passos is to practically inspire, serve and connect people in their process to being better versions of themselves, especially the creative types (although I deeply believe we are all creative - let’s leave that for another article). Naturally I would plan an elaborate empire strategy and do everything at once but the biggest lesson I have learnt this year is to trust the process I am in. The process produces the purpose of life. So my first step in my “elaborate empire strategy” is to start a blog, this blog, and build from there. I am excited to speak about different categories and share some insight into my life and the lives of those who inspire me. Here are some conversations we’ll have.

Putting The Life back in Lifestyle.

A complicated notion simplified into bite size inspiration that promotes mental, physical and soulful wellbeing. Life doesn’t have to be that complicated and nor should speaking about it. We all have a unique narrative and I want to expose my readers to those different vantage points.

All About That Business.

We’ll explore practical thinking that has solved interesting issues as well as cover some inspiring entrepreneurs that are following their passions. We can all learn from one another and the key to doing good businesses lies in good collaboration and self development.

It’s Called Fashion Darling.

We explore how to style, simplify and step up your fashion game. This is also just an excuse for me to post great outfits and attach a narrative to it. Fashion is a form of human expression and we’ll look at how we all express differently.

Attached to my articles I will always leave my readers with something practical - my step by step guides because what good is inspiration if you can’t act on it?

This is just the first step in the process of where I see this brand going. If you’ve ever wanted to start a passion project turned side hustle but didn’t know where to start - here are some steps that may help (they certainly helped me)

A Guide To The Side Hustle

Step 1 Simplify What You Love

Choose something you love and that you’re good at. Where your tenacity meets your talent. Overcomplicating something that is meant to be a release for you will just add more stress to your life.

Step 2 Just Do It

The real magic is in the execution. This will also test the validity of your side hustle and is the perfect testing ground to see if its something you really want to pursue. Start small and be kind to yourself - Google wasn’t built in a day.

Step 3 Plan The Future

At first it may be tight but thats why you have a main 9-5. In the longterm you want to make sure that your side hustle is going to be profitable otherwise you might as well start a charity - and even charities need to make money honey.
